The Center for the Book in the Library of Congress, What If ... the Science Fiction and Fantasy Forum of the Library of Congress Professional Association, and the North American Jules Verne Society are pleased to announce that the next conference of the Society will be held at the Library of Congress on May 13-15, 2004.
The conference will be open to the public, Library staff, and members of the North American Jules Verne Society.
A special feature of the conference will be the opportunity to see the Library's Verne collection in its Rare Book Division, the largest such collection in North America.
Proposals for presentations and papers to be delivered at the conference on Verne, and-or related international literary and cultural issues, are encouraged.
