We've now finished the first of our "field trips" to test out potential new sites for BASFA. Next Monday, May 17, we're back at Stevens Creek. We've confirmed the May 24 meeting in Newark. When I spoke to the manager of the Newark Round Table, it appeared that her main concern would be whether we'd generate enough revenue to justify them blocking one of their two meeting rooms every Monday night. If people are willing, I'd like to collect all of the receipts from our May 24 meeting and total up our purchases so that we have some hard data to show people if we're questioned about our seriousness. I also ask that anyone coming to that meeting buy _something_ even if it's just a soda.
