Assuming the location has no problem with it, we can probably revert to the Round Table Pizza on Stevens Creek Blvd. for the June 21st meeting. Or, if we'd like to try the Newark location again, I can make another booking there (assuming it's available). The June 7 meeting is scheduled for Yiasso Greek Restaurant. Directions are on the BASFA web site. Results of my receipt collecting: At the May 24 meeting, there were 17 people attending and a total spend of $137.99, for an average spend per person of $8.12. (Numbers do not include sales tax.) It seemed to me to be a fairly typical turnout for BASFA. Incidentally (and for the benefit of those who weren't there or didn't hear me when I announced it at the time), we were meeting in the front meeting room, which is the larger of the two; however, the back room is only slightly smaller. I paced it off, and the back room is about 90% of the size of the front room. (I think the front room feels much larger because it has all of those windows, including the bay window in the front of the room.) The only drawback of the two-room arrangement is that the wall between the rooms doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, so groups could end up contending with each other for space. Personally, I find the floorplan appealing -- if we ever had a really large turnout (say for a popular author appearance), we could probably open the double doors and use both rooms. As a regular event (assuming we wanted them and they wanted us), I think we'd probably be placed in the smaller rear room. Kevin
