[basfa-list] KTEH Pledge Night August 22nd

Hello All:

PBS station KTEH is going to have a Red Dwarf pledge night on Sunday, 
August 22nd. If you would like to see science fiction programming 
return to KTEH on Sunday nights, this is your chance to help make it 
happen. Two ways to make it happen include:

1. Helping SiliCon fill out the phone banks, so we can get SiliCon 
advertised on KTEH. We need the majority of people to say they'll be 
there by August 10th, so we can get credit and publicity. Of course, 
people will be accepted as volunteers later, but we'd like SiliCon to 
get the (very badly) needed publicity.

2. If you can't work the telephones, then please pledge on this 
particular evening. Money speaks loudly to PBS stations, and if enough 
people pledge on science fiction night, they will consider having 
regular science fiction night programming again. Also, if enough people 
pledge, then KTEH will consider getting an actor or two from Red Dwarf 
to come out for a visit in October.

You could be one of the people who gets to meet and greet the Red Dwarf 
cast members if you make a pledge on Sunday, August 22nd. More details 
will be provided on pledge night.
