I thought it was rather odd that there would be a big name Bay Area author that I hadn't heard about, so I did some checking. Mr. Lyons book does not appear in the nomination lists for either the PKD Award or the Spectrum Award in any year. And it certainly hasn't been nominated for the Tiptree because there is no nomination process for that award.
