It's the most exciting gabfest since the Albigensian heresy! Writers
With Drinks throws together spoken word genres like squirrels and
racoons in a centrifuge! This time, we feature literary writing from
Mary Roach (Stiff), Mexican wrestling wisdom from Chris Garcia, poetry
from Juliette Torrez (Madness & Retribution), comedy from Nick Leonard
(QComedy) and horror/fantasy from Michael Blumlein, whose novel XY has
just been made into a movie, showing at SF Indie Fest!
It all happens this Saturday, Feb. 12 from 7:30 to 9:30, at the Make Out
Room, 3225 22nd St. btw. Mission & Valencia. It's only $3 to $5 sliding
scale, and it's a fundraiser for other magazine -- our seventh issue
will have Eric Kroll's photo of our ballerina pie fight on the cover!
