Reviews:
I reviewed 'Constantine' as hellish good fun that spurred fun post-movie
conversation, worth full price, followed by another matinee thereafter.
<We talked about movie cookies.> Ed follow-on'd that he also liked
'Constantine' & that it had great sets, good acting; Trey follow-on'd
that the movie was not flawless but was very true to the spirit of the
work, it had a good feel & was worth matinee
Ed reviewed 'Hitch' as a great flick, nicely played with good symbolism
& Will Smith did a great job - a well-spent afternoon & he also reviewed
a new light gun game product as very good and worth full price
Dann reviewed 'Son of the Mask' as being completely ruined by Jamie
Kennedy's performance - 'he simply can't act' - and 'if I could've
stopped this movie from general release I would've - because I'm a
humanitarian'. It was not worth seeing for free. Dann also warned that
the revamp of the Warner cartoon classic characters looks awful
Kevin reviewed the extended edition DVD for 'Return of the King' as he
wanted to know why so much of the movie was done in whispers, but
thought it worth full price
Chris reviewed 'The Village' as he saw it 4 times this week, doesn't
like the film but loves the score and wants it to win the Oscar for
'best score'
Mike reviewed 'Wondercon' as he enjoyed what he saw, thought it worth
full price <& there was some discussion>; for a review of the con check
