be Paul Lawrence & the writer Guest will be Diana Paxton
Reviews:
Julie reviewed a climactic episode of 'Carnival' on HBO as 'wow &
reviewed the latest iteration of 'Little House on the Prairie' as it has
good production values but has been done with modern sensibilities & to
only watch it if you're really obsessed
Art reviewed 'Steamboy' as kind of interesting, the anime rather nice,
but the plot is murky & it's frantically paced
I reviewed the DVD of 'Queen of the Damned' as not too bad & much better
than I expected; worth buying cheap on DVD
Kevin reviewed his adventurers in Oregon as explosive & reviewed his
airplane trip as it had lots of jouncy bouncy & had a carnival-ride
atmosphere
Mike reviewed the Legion of Rasselon [now meeting at the Carl's Jr at
1st & Trimble, the 4th Friday of every month] as that now they can hear
themselves talk & reviewed the new Dr Who incarnation as it has higher
production values
We adjourned at = 8:49 pm
And the rumor of the week was that ‘it's all Wallis's fault'
