June Milestones Celebration
It seems like a lot of milestone events happen in June: birthdays,
anniversaries,
graduations, and marriages. So, it's time to celebrate the joyous
events that have
happened in our lives.
Food highlights:
Saturday: Potluck dinner with a special tiramisu cake to share. If the
weather is
warm, we might even have some homemade ice cream.
Sunday: Waffle brunch. We make the waffles, you bring something that
goes
with the waffles. RSVPs requested, so we can have enough
batter on
hand.
Evening barbecue - poolside if the weather allows.
Activity highlights:
Saturday: In the afternoon, it can be swimming, games - including
bridge, or crafting
if people want to do handwork. Along with conversation, of
course.
In the evening, standard party with the ability to split off
activities into
another room if enough people want to do something.
In the later evening, the hot tub will be available.
Sunday: After brunch, relaxing by the poolside if the weather is nice
enough. If
enough people want to do a particular activity, we can do
that, too.
For those that want to stay the whole weekend, we have spare bedrooms
available if
you don't want to commute back-and-forth.
