Two episodes of Doctor Who on Scifi tonight 9-11pm, then repeated at 11pm. TiVO. And, not sure if cable boxes collect data, and I know they don't record, but they do have a record function that turns them on tuned to the station you want to record, and you can set them to go on tuned to Scifi when Doctor Who is on--so, at very least a convenience for us TiVO-less.
