Secretary’s report: the minutes of meeting 819 were accepted as ‘a room
with a floor’

A Treasurer’s report was not available due to a lack of vital Treasurer
goodness

The VP reported there’s a new ‘Pacheco Progress Report’, the ‘unproofed
edition’ and he will visit Vegas fandom this weekend & then he teased us

The President stated he had nothing to report

The Party Committee reported that we may combine with FurNation to form
a joint party for FC 2007

We established a party jar

The Hollister in ’08 bid committee reported there are 20 members & that
Cheryl will be Andy’s Wiscon agent

The Sports Committee practiced his ninja skills and avoided reporting

Announcements
Cheryl announced that ‘Emerald City’ is looking for a roving reporter
for NorWesCon [and looked significantly at Dave C - who did volunteer
for the duty]

Dave C announced that NorWesCon is this weekend - only 850 miles away -
& urged us all to attend

[evil] Kevin announced another ‘best thing ever’ - in that the ‘Thumb
Wrestling Federation’ will be on Nick Toons

Kevin S announced he found a flyer for a manga/anime expo that will be
held April 29 [in 2 parts] in Fremont at the teen center

Dave C then theorized about how the space initiative came about

Reviews:
Andy reviewed the greatest achievement of frog-kind ever - possibly the
ugliest case ever made for the ipod & reviewed ‘Mac Rescue’ - a service
out of Kansas - as that they will also repair ipods in a rapid, reliable
manner & as worth full price

Chris reviewed a trip to Sonoma as he enjoyed viewing documentaries &
had a great endorsement from Gavin Newsome, met fun folks, drank a lot
of wine & it was worth the $385 spent on the room & all the walking he
had to do there

Kevin S reviewed the Golden Spike 3 in Niles as that you can now ride
the train from Niles to Sunol - but that Kevin didn’t get a chance to
ride on it; then Cheryl continued the review with some Niles trivia,
plus she really enjoyed the 2 hour silent film, but even moreso the
synthesizer player

[evil] Kevin reviewed an interesting show = Kink Ink and his experience
of being a canvas for Sharpie art & amusement at being immortalized as
the ‘naked drunk guy’ by one blogger; he really enjoyed the night

Mike then announced that he had an idea involving a way to top William
Shatner

We auctioned off stuff, books for = $0.75; $0.25; $0.75; $0.50; $0.25;
$0.25; $0.25; $0.25; $2.25; $1.00; $4.00 & $12.50; videos for $2.50 &
$2.50 & Wonder Woman notelets for $13.00

We adjourned at = 9:34 pm

And the rumor of the week was = ‘Dream Haven features leather-bound authors’
