I reviewed the DVD of ‘Pitch Black’ as surprisingly entertaining and it
had a lot of fun extras

Cheryl reviewed a sf reading that was remarkably informative & the next
one will be the Tuesday after World Horror Con

Kevin S reviewed helping out at the Oregon Electric Train Museum as the
wheels came off their railing and fussing around with old railroad
equipment caused him to leave furrows in the gravel there

Chris reviewed ‘Vegas in Space’ as if there were Oscars for the best
drag queen musical, it would win. It was kind of entertaining and the
best find he’s made on Ebay was a 16mm print of the ‘Love Boat’ with
Bruce Jenner & Hulk Hogan [there were follow-ons]

Lisa reviewed Disneyland as the fireworks were excellent and ‘Go Sharks!”

Dave C reviewed Norwescon, selling books as still a dicodemy [sp?] &
reviewed S Andrew Swann’s ‘The Dragons of Cyahoga’ as a fun little
novel, worth pb

Adrienne reviewed ‘Bimbos of the Death Sun’ as pretty bad and insulting
- worth used pb [there were follow-ons]

Sue reviewed the SJ Ballet as very very well done & reviewed ‘Take the
Lead’ as nice eye-candy, worth full price

Ed reviewed the Peking acrobats as very impressive, worth full price

Dave G reviewed the Berekley Sharfengerger Chocolate factory tour as he
learned fun stories and well worth full price [free] and taste-testing
the samples was akin to sampling wine and highly recommended [there were
follow-ons]

And then Kevin S announced his parent company’s name was changed to Con-Way

We auctioned off stuff, books for = $5.50; $0.50; $0.35; $3.00; $5.50; &
videos for $0.90

We adjourned at = 9:34 pm

And the rumor of the week was = ‘There’s a convention coming up . . .’
