‘Forbidden Planet’ may be shown there

Costumecon 26 & are chasing down an Internet Explorer bug

Eric announced he will be doing a local audition for Jeopardy on Thursday

Reviews:
Harold reviewed ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ as very worthwhile to watch, a
good film, very interesting and worth matinee price

I reviewed ‘The DaVinci Code’ as a decent adaptation of the book &
enjoyable; reviewed ‘Over the Hedge’ as lots of fun - especially the
squirrel - although it was predictable & reviewed ‘X-Men 3’ as better
than I expected it to be & all were worth matinee. I also reviewed Trey
& my 20th anniversary as really fun

Art reviewed the ‘Dr Who’ season finale on the SciFi channel as the
Daleks have learned to climb stairs

Andy reviewed BASFA meeting 828 as ‘we were in the wrong room’ & it was
worth full price but was inconvenient

Eric reviewed ‘Cars’ as pretty darn good, but is Pixar’s 2nd worst
[better than ‘A Bug’s Life’] in his opinion & worth matinee & popcorn &
says stay till the very end for the cookie; Dave C follow-on’d with the
news coverage that the film had ‘only’ pulled in 62 million

Chris reviewed ‘Angels & Demons’ by Dan Brown as only slightly ludicrous
& a fun read but it made him think he was an idiot for enjoying it so
much; Harold follow-on’d that since he read it in jail it was not wroth
full price to him

Bob reviewed a drive up to the Lick Observatory that was worth the visit
and the Bonestell art there was worth the drive alone; then [evil] Kevin
warned that the drive there is still one to take . . . slowly

Ed reviewed ‘Stuff & Nonsense’ at Baycon as he bought a platypus from them

We auctioned off stuff, videos for $1.25; $1.25; $1.50; playing cards
for $1.00; & the only printed copy of ‘Drink Tank 84’ for $1.00

We adjourned at = 9:25 pm

And the rumor of the week was = ‘that Chris will wrestle an alien for
the SciFi Channel’ [cute suggestions = ‘in a mask’ ‘in the turtle costume’]
