Reviews:
Chris reviewed the DVD of 'Forbidden Planet' as it's a darned good film, the featurettes are fantastic & is worth full price by far & the transfer is gorgeous & reviewed the 'Incomplete History of the Funerary Violin' as beautifully researched and a marvellous fraud & also well worth full price

Dave C reviewed '? Sedaris at Carnegie Hall', specifically '6 to 8 Black Men' & recommends it as worth full price [note = 1st name of Sedaris did not record as pen printed the D and then the rest of the name blanked out]; & he reviewed a CD of the Beatles 'Love' as a mash-up album - and there were many follow-ons about it

Harold reviewed the SciFi channel's 'Lost Room' as not well explained - with many odd objects & it looks like they plan to make another series out of it [there were lots of follow-ons about it]

Andy reviewed last week's Torchwood as 'holy mother of god!' and that there really IS a story arc in there somewhere - like Friday the 13th the series goes to Cardiff & is worth stealing twice over

Adrienne reviewed 'The Holiday' as a cute little chick flick & reviewed 'Stranger then Fiction' as an interesting concept but it didn't grab her the way she hoped and rated it as so-so, maybe worth matinee

Chris also reviewed a short on You-Tube 'Last Girlfriend' as possibly the greatest thing ever made that he didn't film & recommends it

We auctioned off - a VHS tape & a pb for $0.25, books for $4.50, $1.00, $0.25 & $0.75, a DVD for $1.00, chocolates for $5.00 & birthday auctioned off Dave C for $8.00 to himself

We adjourned at = 9:20 pm

And the rumor of the week was = 'Personally I don't believe in a woman's thunder'
