Hello All: We're in the process of getting all the books out of the apartment and into our garage. I have now documented a small portion of the loose books:
* More chess books * More fiction paperbacks * More science fiction paperbacks * More miscellaneous books * New subjects: - Java - Linux - Unix Plus, the introduction page has some new information on it. Also, if you are available tomorrow afternoon to help move books from the apartment to our garage, we would appreciate it. We'll be working there in the afternoon hours. That URL, again, is: <http://home.inreach.com/mrbilll/mscip/JacksBooks/jackBooks.html> Again, for those that have gotten books, Barbara (the sister) is really happy that so many books have found good homes. On top of that, the amount of money that people have freely given has very pleasantly surprised her. Other items that are available: * Metal bookshelves. * Televisions - one rather small, the other somewhat large but not a large-screen television. * Motorcycle - A Kawasaki 100 or 150 cc that needs repair work and a new seat. It was for sale on eBay, but the final bidder was not local. She's checking with some of the other bidders, but it would be nice to have alternative people for her if the other bidders fall through. You'll have to come get and transport the motorcycle. The storage locker is in Sunnyvale, CA, and you'll have to come get it immediately. You can't wait a couple days to get it if you want it because the storage locker is going to be cleared out and closed no later than June 30th. It might be closed sooner. * Metal desk - It's a large, heavy sucker that will require two very strong people or three people to move it. It is intended to go to a metal scrap dealer, but so far, they haven't picked it up yet. * Lots of hard drives and hard drive cases/frames which are also intended for the metal scrap dealer if one ever comes around to pick up stuff. So far, two of them have flaked on her. Until later-- Carole _______________________________________________ basfa mailing list [email protected] http://lists.basfa.org/listinfo.cgi/basfa-basfa.org
