Actor James "Spike" Marsters has just (last month) shot a guest appearance in Cardiff, for an early episode of the second series (US usage: "season") of "Torchwood", the non-kiddie Doctor Who spinoff. Quoth Marsters, his role is "going to offend some, titillate others - to the point where they would need to finish themselves off afterwards."
Torchwood Series 1 will debut on BBC America in September. To see Series 2, you'll have to be in Britain (or have, um... staggeringly unlikely antenna reception on BBC 3, as I do).
