Reviews:
[evil] Kevin reviewed the 2nd episode of the new 'Flash Gordon' as 'Cleopatria 2250' was better and that's it - there won't be a 3rd episode for him

Chris reviewed 'Stardust' as it didn't suck, was entertaining [Frank Wu follow-on'd = 'It's great!" and Dave G called it a good date movie], then Chris reviewed a 'Fanboy Planet' podcast without him as because he wasn't there it was great;

Dave C reviewed Wing and picked up 'Wing Sings Elvis' and 'Beatles Classics by Wing' and says she sings in a high voice and hits the high notes, except where she misses them, but if you like this sort of thing then get it & he reviewed 'Hex' [on BBC America] as very British

Adrienne reviewed 'Jekyll' [on BBC America] as pretty gripping and the main character is done very well; she recommends and can't wait for the finale

Harold reviewed Annie Leon's book 'Working from IX to V' as interesting & reviewed James Burke's 'American Connections' as worth paperback and not bad & reviewed Showtime's 'Californication' [a sex comedy] as worth watching on cable - funny and filthy

Frank Wu reviewed the Museum of Science Fiction as really interesting and the museum has one of his paintings there - worth full price [there were follow-ons]

Dave G reviewed the Las Vegas version of 'Spamalot' among the crap tables as shorter than the Broadway show with no intermission, but worth what they paid

David reviewed 'Sunshine' [a movie about reigniting the sun] as full of plot holes, recreation physics & coincidences - as worth seeing the first half of & he can't recommend it [there were many neeping follow-ons]

Then Julie announced there's a Legion of Rasselon meeting this Friday at 1st and Trimble [tall Kevin] also announced that there is a brand new Hugo award website open just last night = www.thehugoawards.org & the reviews have been generally favorable

Frank Wu introduced David Sherman who was visiting us for the first time

Then we birthday auctioned off Bob for $12.00 to Chris, birthday auctioned off [tall] Kevin for $15.00 to Dave C, birthday auctioned off Harold for $15.00 to himself; plus auctioned off books for $5.00, wall decorations for $2.00, a bag for $2.00, a token for $1.00, & a pretty rock for $1.50

We adjourned at = 9:38

And the rumor of the week was that = 'Chris Garcia will be elected president of the League of Wrasslin''
