Officials Investigate As 50 People Fall Ill At Weekend Convention

General Manager Says Sickness Didn't Come From Hotel Food

MADISON, Wis. -- Fifty people attending a science fiction convention at
Madison's Concourse Hotel this weekend feel ill.

The Madison City Health Department is now investigating why, WISC-TV
reported.

Steve Zanoni, the hotel's general manager, said that they have determined
the sickness didn't come from food provided by the Concourse.

Zanoni said that the hotel has been scrubbed from top to bottom since the
illnesses were reported.
