Reviews:
Joe reviewed a wake for a RenFaire friend as a nice pagan ceremony and she's
tired of hearing about deaths in that community

Adrienne reviewed 'Ghost Town' as kind of a cute movie and worth matinee &
thinks 'Primeval' is a bit derivative but she's enjoying it

Harold reviewed 'Dexter' as worth having Showtime in order to get & reviewed
'Ghost Town' as damned funny and a cautionary tale about hospitals and
reviewed the Pacifica Fog festival as - there was fog

Michael reviewed some of Toby Bluth's artwork as it blew him away [check at
www.peabodygallery.com for more info]

Howeird reviewed 'Dreams of My Father' by Obama as not a page turner and
worth reading for the angst

Miko commented that the Casa de Ren Faire will be going on until Oct 11 and
worth it when they went & reviewed the 'Ideal Bar and Grill' in Santa Cruz
as very good and has an impressive menu

Joe reviewed Yaoicon as 'if you're not androgynous then you're effectively
invisible' and he enjoyed the con

Andy reviewed Yaoicon as possibly a greater disaster in ballroom seating
than Baycon WITH screaming fangirls and the hotel staff was being weirder
than usual and the air conditioning was lacking

Ken reviewed retro roller skating in Milpitas as there was a Dr Who pinball
machine there, people skated and had fun and the snack bar was good - all
worth full price; Chris follow-on'd that he had a great time

Chris reviewed Netflix as fools and they forgot to include a NDA for Roku -
which was reviewed as crap - and reviewed 'Speed Racer' as he's lucky he
still has a girlfriend & everything not CGI came from Ikea; and reviewed
'Incident at Loch Ness' as it wasn't good but it wasn't bad

Glenn reviewed seeing the 'net version of 'Shoggoth on the Roof' as amusing
