The Hiller Museum is well worth checking out in general in case you've
never been there. I gawked at a jetpack demo (!) there in
September, and every June there's a stunt helicopter airshow.

Virgin Galactic : Space Tourism
Space Tourism
Coming to the museum
January 24 at 11AM
Virgin Galactic, Sir Richard Branson's bold venture into space
tourism, is well on its way to becoming the world's first spaceline.
Testing of mother ship WhiteKnightTwo has begun and the team at Scaled
Composites in Mojave are working toward the completion of
SpaceShipTwo. Once the Virgin Galactic space flight system is fully
tested, passenger operations will commence--perhaps as early as the
first quarter of 2010. Space travel for the general public is about to
become a reality!
To learn more about the dawning age of space tourism, plan to be at
the museum Saturday January 24th. Beginning at 11am, a team from
Virgin Galactic will give a lively and informative multimedia
presentation about private space travel to all museum attendees.
Representatives will be available after the presentation to answer
questions and even take reservations for a trip to space. For more
information about Virgin Galactic, visit www.spaceagent.us and
www.virgingalactic.com. See you up there!
