[1] This is _Dickens_ Fair - it only needs to be CRUTCH accessible.
As far as I know (from taking tickets at the front) The part of the Cow Palace, where the Dickens fair is held is ADA compliant. While parts of the Arena are not totally up to date, The Dickens fair goes to great effort to make things accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. quite a few came through while I was working the front.
As much as I appriceate the humor, this is a serious issue. One that the opposition, who wants to replace the Cop Palace with high end condos (Like they did Bay meadows,) Uses as an argument against us.
While I along with others helped save the Cow Palace, the state officials who lost will try again to sell this land "surplus" to their friends for nothing. Please do not help them. These are the same folk holding our economy hostage.
The Cow Palace is not surplus. It still performs its primary function which is to promote California agriculture and animal husbandry to the youth of tomorrow. It is *not* about the events of the past, It *is* about the events that will happen in the future.
