Secretary's report: the minutes of meeting 964 were accepted as 'we fools,
he showed us all'; the minutes of meeting 965 were accepted as 'in spite of
Adrienne'

the Treasurer reported that last week we took in $3.25 in the regular jar &
$2.25 in the party jar

the Vice president wasn't here, but 'Drink Tank' 200 is out

The President had nothing fannish to report

The committee to get us on Facebook reported that BASFA now has a Facebook
presence and Chris Garcia is already there

Andy announced that Gallifrey 1, 20 Years to Life will be in 2 weeks in LA

Glenn announced that he was laid off by Sun and looking for a job as a
software developer & if someone knows the BayCon fantables people to PLEASE
have them get in touch with him because lots of his emails have gone
unanswered = [email protected]

Lisa announced that the scarf is done!

Ken announced that he was also now laid off

Julian announced that he and Faith will be running the anime room at
Gallifrey

Dave C announced that Hershey is moving all the chocolate goodness of
Schmidt and Scharfenberger out of state, back east & announced that
Walgreen's is selling '$2 Buck Choc'

Glenn reviewed 'Star Wars on Trial' as literary criticism that he enjoyed
and parts were very amusing, he recommends it

Andy reviewed FurCon as they arrived Wednesday, helped with DustyKat's party
Thursday night and has a blast - it was a relaxicon for them, that [evil]
Kevin was in an FNL skit [that was SO cute!] and FC move-out was done really
fast - all-in-all was worth full sponsor price [there were follow-ons]

Justin reviewed 'Machine Girl' as gore-horror-comedy-gore-gore-gore and
recommended for those with strong stomachs

Stellan reviewed 'Implied Spaces' by Walter Jon Williams as rousing space
opera, worth full hardcover book price

Dave G reviewed the Coraline art exhibit at the Cartoon Art Museum in SF as
well worth full price [and Fred agreed[

Adrienne reviewed the 'Haunts of San Jose' by David Lee as just awful with
horrible writing

Mo reviewed 'Dragon Wars' as it sucked on toast, even with having good CGI &
she reviewed 'The Host' as recommended and worth full price [Julian agreed]

Ken reviewed soundtracks for 'Danger Man' as definitely worth full price

Lisa reviewed 'Indigo Dragon' as a good read, worth full price & reviewed
'Inkheart' as Brendan Frazier did a good job in it and go see it & reviewed
'Doubt' as very well-acted, no doubt about it

Howeird reviewed Conflikt in Renton WA as there was lots and lots of talent
there - he had a great time

[tall] Kevin reviewed seeing the SJ Stealth play Edmonton in lacrosse as
very fast and worth winning tickets to go see

we then did auctions:   videos for $4.00, $0.50, $0.75, a figurine for
$1.00, and glowy kitsch for $0.50

We adjourned at = 9:40

And the rumor of the week was: 'Is that Darth Vader or are you just happy to
see me?'
