Hi, all.
As many of you know, I was impacted in the most recent round of
"restructuring" at Sun. I was officially laid off January 22nd. The
good news is that I have a new job already, working for a multinational
company that does academic publishing and web hosting. I start Monday.
Due to Sun's generous departure package, this could actually be a banner
year for us as I will be working at my new job during the severance
period for my old one.
My deepest thanks and gratitude to all of you who forwarded job
opportunities, were willing to be references and wrote recommendations.
