Mo announced that 'Spook fest' will be at their place this Friday at 8pm and
show 'El Santo vs the Martians' and 'El Santo and the Blue Demon vs

Reviews:
I reviewed 'Dragonball Evolution' as surprisingly not sucky - it was fun to
watch and worth full price; Trey follow-on'd that it was mindless eye candy
and worth seeing if you like the source material and worth matinee

Chris reviewed getting a donation at the museum as it was awesome, reviewed
a documentary on DVD 'Bigger, Faster, Stronger' as really well done;
reviewed 'Obsessed' as all 3 leads were great but the plot was every cliche
ever seen; reviewed 'Bust' as a great book; reviewed 'Man from UNCLE -
Sceptre Affair' as worth putting up with - saw 'Twilight' again on Saturday;
saw some 'Jeeves and Wooster' and commented that 'House' does a great
English accent

Mike reviewed the 'Dreamworlds' exhibit at the Natalie and James Thompson
art gallery [thru May 15] as it's difficult to park there but worth seeing -
and reviewed a Mexican seafood place, Dia de Pesca on Bascom and San Carlos
- as the food is great

Glenn reviewed a song about flying cars as fun and reviewed 'Scream for
Jeeves' as well worth reading

Fred reviewed 'Breaking the Code' [at Bus Barn] as a good script, well
preformed and recommends it

Dave C reviewed 'the Doomsday Brunette' by John Zakour and Lawrence Ganem
as he recommends it whole heartedly

Joe reviewed 'Doubt' as really, really good - worth full price and reviewed
'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' as pretty good

Ken reviewed chocolate chip/bacon cookies as *good* and the KFJC
appreciation party was fun - worth full price

[evil] Kevin reviewed dinner as very nice at 'Peking Duck' and reviewed 'You
don't Mess with the Zohan' as ... it's an Adam Sandler flick

we did auctions: anime DVDs for $12.00, magazines for $0.50 & $0.25, a bag
of stuff for $1.00; CDs for $0.25, $0.25; books for $0.50, $1.00, $3.50,
$0.25; a cap and license plate rim for $0.25, videos for $0.25; indy CDs
and buttons for $0.25; & Greek chocolates for $0.25

We adjourned at = 9:36

And the rumor of the week was: 'your motion is important to us ... please
hold'
