Hi Basfa,

Wanted to invite you all to a FREE EVENT I'm hosting at the Improv Theater this
Tuesday, Oct 20th: an evening of creative talks by creative/insane/inspiring
folks. This is a Pecha Kucha style presentation, if you aren't familiar with
that style, check out the link at the bottom of the message. Think along the
lines of Iron Chef for speakers.

Among the speakers will be Evil Kevin Roche, whose topic will be
"Evolution of a Lounge Lizard" about the creation of Conrad T.
Lizard.

I'm sure Kevin would be happy to see familiar, friendly faces in the audience,
and I'm sure you'll also enjoy our other speakers covering such topics as:

"My Problems with Monkeys" by stand up comic and user interface designer Howard
Cooperstein
"I Shoot at Night" a review of amazing long-exposure night photography and
stories about exploring abandoned places in the dark
"Form over Function" - Surprises from a graphic designer
"Making of Crackpot Comics" a small filmaker on a budget makes a big
"Clerks-style" movie as a series of webisodes. Sounds like a movie in itself?
- Likely a sneak preview too.
"Myth to Comic" - Taking the millennium-old Persian Shahnameh myth into modern
comic books
"Creating Your Resume on YouTube" this one has to be seen!

And several more...

Did I mention it's free? Two drink minimum but no tickets to buy. If you've
never been to the Improv, it's an amazing retro theater with tons of table
seating in old-fashioned tiered style. Great for groups, so come by yourself
or with a crowd!

Hope to see all of you there!
-Ric
