The SMOFCon convention-runners convention is coming to the Bay Area this December on the weekend of December 3-5 at the Sainte Claire Hotel in downtown San Jose. Memberships are $50 through May 1. Although commuting to the convention may be practical for many BASFA members, if you're interested in staying at the hotel, booking has now opened and is available at http://www.smofcon28.org/?page_id=12.
You can register online for SMOFCon 28 at http://www.smofcon28.org/?page_id=8, but if you're regularly at BASFA meetings, it might be just as easy to buy a membership from one of our committee members, starting with Chairman Glenn Glazer, from us at a meeting.
