Reviews:
Dave C reviewed Gail Carriger's book 'Souless' as a book of manners & worth
full price & reviewed 'House' a 1977 Japanese film as a very strange
splatter flick, sort of like 'Wes Craven's Scooby Doo' & then reviewed his
parking space in the Castro on a busy Saturday night, 100' from the theatre
as it proves he is blessed by macadam

Glenn reviewed tasty concepts & work-related food poisoning as unpleasant
and that better stuff was better

Julie reviewed Jonathan Pryce as definitely worth full price & a Dr Who
Confidential along with the 'The Curse of the Red Death' was exceptional &
that "very Annie Mary' is still a favorite Jonathan Pryce film of here

[evil] Kevin reviewed a syphilis channel version of 'Riverworld' as he saw
it so that none of us have to

Mo reviewed 2 books, #s 1 & 6 of the Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Atherton as
really sweet, with some clever bits with cookie recipes, but not really
worth full price

Ken reviewed reviews ['volcanic cloud of death']

Lynn reviewed MySQL as good swag, good prizes and she had a decent time

we did auctions: birthday auctioned off Julie Porter for $2.00 to me; then
Coco coupons for $4.00 & $1.00

We adjourned at = 9:23

And the rumor of the week was: 'We meant the other Mount Doom'
