(The sign up service will bold words that are advertisements and may offer
confusing warnings about your email; these can be ignored. Just go to the
table of audition appointments at the bottom of the page and click on the
time slot you want.)

Fandom is all the rage in a contemporary English village. Bunthorne, an
ardent Star Trek fan, is loved by all the maidens, who, out of devotion,
have all become Star Trek fans to gain his attention. That is to say all
except for the one he *most* wants, Patience. The local army regiment
returns home to find that their betrotheds are infatuated with Bunthorne
and cosplay dressing in Star Trek garb. A competing science fiction fan,
Grosvenor, who adheres to the Doctor Who series, arrives in town, and
complications mount when he, too, falls in love with Patience. Who will win
her heart? The Trekkie or the Whovian?

We welcome both experienced and inexperienced people to audition, including
those new to theater. All roles are available to all ethnicities. This is a
non-paid position.

Please prepare a song in English and bring sheet music for the accompanist
in the correct key. In addition to singing, you may be asked to read from a
script or undergo a range test. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to
your audition. All auditions will be held on the Stanford campus. Confirmation
of your audition time and information on the exact location will be emailed
to you at least a day prior to your audition.
