Began at 8:10, innocently enough 23 people attended A party jar was established The minutes of meeting 1251 were accepted as 'we are Groot' and minutes of meeting 1252 were accepted as 'we are all Groot' The Treasurer was not present The Vice President was not present The President had nothing fannish to report There may be a BASFA meeting in London Announcements: Dave C announced that Worldcon is coming up and is 8 timezones away JC announced that Nervana podcast, episode 31, part 2, 'Geeks in Browncoats', will be out Wednesday and announced that Nerdvana Podcasts' 2nd year anniversary is August 23 & a party to celebrate this will be held at '7 stars bar and grill' from noon till 4pm & also announced that Beth made it through her first week of school Adrienne announced that the Outlanders TV show will have its premiere episode shown online first Reviews: Adrienne reviewed 'Godzilla' as a fun monster movie & worth seeing; then she and lots of other people reviewed 'Guardians of the Galaxy' as a really fun & awesome movie, worth full price I reviewed 'Lucy' as much better than I expected - worth full price - and Dave C thought 'Rubix Cube Boy' was a great name for a band Dave C reviewed 'A Guy walks into a Bar' by Simon Rich, in the New Yorker as great enjoyed it JC reviewed 'Pinky and the Brain Lose it' as really good & a 'must see' John O reviewed Minnesota as hot and humid ['sultry?'
