Began at 8 pm with Trey in Texas & Chris officiating
29 people attended

We established a Spider Robinson's family jar

The minutes of meeting 1272 were accepted as 'pay attention to the minutes,
Chris'

The Treasurer reported that last week we took in $9.75 in the regular jar
and $33.35 in the Spider Robinson's family jar

The Vice President reported that there is a new 'Drink Tank' out and there
will be an issue of 'Journey Planet' out soon

The President was in Texas

The Sports Committee reported that the next BASFA outing will be to the
Giants game, May 8, vs the Marlins at 7:15pm; the ticket cost is $23 for
view reserve seats

Announcements:
Dave G announced that he had his food and that Nancy was here

Brad announced that the Giant's trophy tour schedule is now up and check
their site

Ken announced that the Meshuga Nutcracker will be starting at the Campbell,
Heritiage Theatre starting Christmas, check

for detales & he announced that the Legion of Rassilon meeting will be held
this Friday at the IHOP in Santa Clara & starts at 7 pm

Ric announced that he loves Amazon Prime & announced that episode 379 of

JC announced that Nerdvana Podcast episode 35, part 5 will be out on
Wednesday & that next week they revisit Convolution on New Year's Eve

Adrienne announced that Craig Ferguson will be at the Warfield doing
stand-up on Feb 20th

Carole announced that Latkefest was yesterday and was awesome

Beth announced that Katlyn will be in 'Bring it on, the Musical', Jan 15-17
at Santa Clara HS

Ken reviewed a classic car ride thru Willow Glen as fun

Dave C watched the Soup awards show & Ken equated Netflix with God, then
Dave reviewed Paul Cornell's 'The Severed Streets' as an occult police
proceedural & interesting & reviewed 'A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night' as
worth matinee

Bill reviewed making latkes as a lot of work but worth the effort &
reviewed 'The Imitation Game' as thought-provoking & worth full price

Debbie reviewed winning 49er tickets as worth full price, even if the 49ers
lost & that using the light rail system meant having to liste'Godusn to
other people, many of whom were drunk

Ric highly recommended Mike Myers Saturday Night Live opening sequence &
also recommends PeeWee's holiday special & recommends Earth Wind & Fire's
album 'Holiday' & then Mo recommended a Russian anime 'Rocks in my Pocket'

we did auctions

we adjourned at 9:32 pm

and the rumor of the week was:  all the suggested nominees, but the napkin
they were on was somehow lost
