Treasurer said at meeting
1274 we took $10.75 in the regular jar and $57.75 in the Spider Robinson jar.
A proxy for the VP said
there was a new Drink Tank out.

said he had nothing fannish to report.
Sports committee still
has tix available for the Giants game we'll be attending on May 8.
Kevin S. is looking for a
volunteer to help coordinate the BASFA Hugo nomination recommendation list this
year. He'll only be attending one of the meetings when he usually leads the
discussions in February and needs someone else to build the list if this
tradition is going to continue. (Some of us believe Chuck would be the best
choice, but he wasn't there to either accept or refuse the job.)

Gerry N. said at 3:20 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, January 6)
Space X will be launching another dragon to the space station.
Josh said he was offered a job.
Beth said NerdVana
Podcast will release another episode on Wednesday.
Kaitlyn will also
be performing in Bring it On from
January 15–17.
I announced that I will be baking up the leftover cookie
dough being stored in my fridge so there will be cookies to auction off next
week.
Andy said San Jose in 2018 will be hosting a hospitality
event at Further Confusion 2015 the weekend after next.
Ken said Michael Finney gave the Pattersons a call about
their problem with the exterminators who planted dead rats in their attic and
Ken was on KGO radio.
JohnO starts a new job in San Francisco tomorrow.
Carole is going to Arisia in Boston and will dress warmly.
Dave G. is going to Confusion in Michigan the same weekend
as Arisia and Further Confusion.
He was also happy
to have some wine and is looking for people to help him and Spring unpack the
boxes in their new home.
Larry said there a six part production of Good Omens on BBC radio iPlayer
available for a limited time.

Lisa saw Galavant and said it was worth watching
free on ABC TV.
Mo, JohnO and ChrisO followed on that they enjoyed it too.
Beth said her daughter,
Kaitlynn, highly recommends the YA novel, All
Our Yesterdays, by Cristen Terrill.
Dave C. said he saw Greg
Proops on New Year's Eve and enjoyed it.
Dave C. also read the novel, Death
Wore a Smart Little Outfit, by Orlando Outland. It's worth full price if
you can find it.
Howeird said don't go see Unbroken if you're looking for a
movie that's pure entertainment. He said Angelina Jolie's directorial debut was
a string of nastiness and he didn't like the casting.
JohnO said the spirit of the novel was captured in this movie.
Carole saw Shen Yun and said it was very expensive.
The costumes were pretty and it was political.
Bill followed on that it was true to ethnic groups.
Diane said she went to a
beautiful wedding, but it was very cold in its outdoor venue.
She also saw Into the
Woods and thought it was excellent. JohnO and ChrisO enjoyed it too. Dave
G. kept expecting Cinderella to fire someone.
JohnO is reading American Gods, by Neil Gaiman, and
wonders why he hadn't read it sooner.
Josh said Imitation
Game was really, really good.
He also likes to
go Tiki bar hopping in Los Angeles.
We did auctions.
