Treasurer said at meeting
1212 we collected $23.25 in the regular jar and $20.50 in the party. There was
no Nippon in 2007 jar.

he had nothing fannish to report.
Announcements:
Dave C. announced that
there's a Star Wars blooper on You
Tube. Go see it before Fox takes it down.
Lisa H. said Convolution
will be this weekend. Please go to their website for more information.
JC said NerdVana is making a show out of its
station breaks and will be at Convolution. He is also trying to attract new
listeners and is asking folks to help by liking and sharing the NerdVana
Podcast's posts on Facebook.
Chuck said he's starting
a campaign to be cast in Guillermo Del Toro's movie as the Spectre and will be
working
on acquiring fans at Convolution. Come to their podcast and get a ribbon.
Brad received a positive
response to the proposal for his second book on international science fiction.
Mike Mc asked if there is
going to be any kind of party for Comet Ison. People made suggestions.
Reviews:
Josh saw the Carrie remake and was really impressed.
Worth full price.
Dave C. went to
Conjecture in San Diego as a dealer and attendance was poor. It almost paid for
itself. Esther Freisner was fun. Dave G. followed on that the Town &
Country is a lousy convention hotel.
Mo though the AMC Theater
cranked the sound up too loud for Gravity,
but was impressed by the 3D. I enjoyed it as well, despite my reservations.
We did auctions.
