The minutes of meeting 1286 were accepted as 'Mo better'

There was no Treasurer & thus no report

The Vice President was missing [week 1]

The President had nothing fannish to report

The Party Committee reported that there will be a party at BabsCon this
Saturday at 8pm

Announcements:
Ken announced that 'Life of Brian' will be shown at the Blue Light cinema
at 7pm Thursday, April 2, check lifeofbrianmovie.eventbrite.com & Geri has
made beards & announced that a 'Thunderbirds are Go' series will be on UK TV

JC announced that Mo is out of the hospital, but is changing passwords and
all because the hospital lost her purse & he announced that Nerdvana
Podcast, episode 37, part 2 will be out Wednesday & announced that his
gallbladder comes out on Thursday

Ric announced that Fanboy Planet is due out & announced that there'll be a
PechaKucha at Cafe Stritch on Tuesday, 6pm+

Aatheus announced that Big Wow, a comics, media & cosplay event, will be at
the SJ Convention Center, April 18-19

Bradford announced that 'The Walking Dead' will get a spinoff series this
summer & announced that he completed getting the full run of the 'Brave &
the Bold' comic series

[evil] Kevin announced that there is a Robogames event at the San Mateo
event center this weekend & he will have 2 entries

Andy reviewed Eurovision as fun & not bad

Ric reviewed the newest Humble Bundle as astonishing, reviewed the new
James Bond trailer as it looks good; reviewed 'iZombie' as charming &
reviewed 'Kingsman' as mostly okay

Dave C reviewed the 'Paul Blart 2' trailer as 'nope nope nope' & reviewed a
horror of a book 'Your House is on Fire' by Stefan Kiesbye as the cover art
has nothing to do with the overall creepy book

[evil] Chris reviewed Andy Duncan's 'The Pottawatomie Giant and other
stories' as readable & reviewed an obit for Terry Pratchett in the
Economist as good

Bradford reviewed the 'The Walking Dead' season finale as one of their
better ones & Ric stated he has trust issues, the Andy announced that Otter
Pops are made from otters

Aatheus reviewed an Icelandic beer, 'Einstok' toasted porter as excellent &
worth the imported price & reviewed 'City Skylines' on Steam.com as what
Simcity should have been & reviewed 'Ready Flare One' as a wonderful
homage, narrated by Wil Wheaton & worth full price

Fred reviewed audiobooks narrated by Wil Wheaton as he's enjoyed all he's
heard & reviewed [evil] Kevin's jacket as a stunning visual display

Dave C raviewed 'Battle Creek' as another police proceedural & Andy
suggests searching out commercial TV insurance fanfic because it's the
funniest stuff he's read all day

there was nothing to auction

we adjourned at 9:18

and the rumor of the week was:  'The next BASFA meeting will be a police
proceedural'
