promptly at 8:00p.m. with talk of twins 17 people were present, beforeand 
during Ken insisted on acorrection for the minutes from meeting 1293. It was 
Beth who reviewed New Kidson the Block, not him. The minutes were then accepted 
as "Ken's firstpublic denial in office." I gave an update on Mo,who is 
improving, but will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility thenext day to 
concentrate on physical therapy for the next couple of weeks. Treasurer said we 
havemoney. VP's next show on KFJC onMonday, May 25, will be a tribute to Doug 
Adams. The president had nothingfannish to report, since he was not there. We 
welcomed second timevisitor, Ed Moore, who liked BASFA's attitude. Sports 
committee islooking at setting up group outings at San Jose Giants and 
Earthquakes gamesand was wondering if BASFA would be interested in doing 
either. See Dave G. ifinterested. Brad asked about thestats from VP election. 
They had not been prepared.  Announcements: Kevin S. said the 2015 Hugopacket 
is now available from Sasquan. Dave C. said the RaymondBurr Winery is closing 
down operations.     He also brought in a book in for auction. NerdVana Podcast 
will continue talking about collectingBrad Lyau's house with Nick Grey. The 
episode will be posted at: http://nerdvanapodcast.com/     JC also once had a 
website called lightsabre.com. He sold it,but the new owners eventually let it 
go. He plans to revive it and willrelaunch it under a new name. Kevin R. found 
out thatHot Topic sells molds for lightsabre popsicles. Ed Moore announced a 
newbook, A Second Coming and Other Stories,he's releasing. It will be launched 
at BayCon '15. Ric without a k found aKickstarter project he liked.     The 
second of his photogalleries from Big Wow is now availableon FanboyPlanet.com.  
    He said there will also be new episodes of Twin Peaks and Halt &Catch Fire 
was renewed for another season. He's also looking forward to Jonathan Strange & 
Mr. Norell. Andy said that SteveWozniak bought out Big Wow and is looking at 
putting on two shows a year. Dave C. reminded usBayCon is coming this weekend 
and Ric said FanboyPlanet will be doing a podcast there and giving out prizes. 
Ken said Legion ofRassilon will be meeting on the fifthFriday, May 29, this 
month due to the abundance of conventions this weekend.  Reviews: Dave C. saw 
Wayward Pines and will keep watching it. Kevin R. went to a shopcalled Dark 
Entry. It's a clothing store on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley and hewishes it 
success. Ric said he is satisfiedwith the series finale of Mad Men. I reviewed 
eitherlocation of Yuki Sushi as the best sushi in the South Bay, if not the 
whole BayArea. http://yukisushi.com/ Ken had a good timecheering on bicyclists 
riding by his house this weekend.   We did auctions.  Rumor of the Week: "There 
be babieshere."  We adjourned 9:22 p.m.
