Gayle read the Hugo-nominatedshort stories and supports "Totaled," by Kary English for the win.She also thought The Three-Body Problemwas a page turner. Steve listened to WilWheaton's reading of Armada and saidit was a showcase of his talents, but Steve thought the story, by Ernest Cline,was derivative. Carole saw Minions and got a lot of costuming ideasfrom it. She thought the Easter egg was fun. There were lots of follow-ons; thegeneral consensus was it is a fun movie. Brad read The Secret History of Wonder Woman, byJill Lepore, and highly recommends the book. Ric highly recommends theExpanse series by James S.A. Corey, particularly 2012 Hugo nominee Leviathan Wakes. He also saw Ant-Manand enjoyed it. JC followed on that it was terrific and he'll see it again.Dave C. appreciated that the movie cleaned up Ant-Man's history. Ric has also been watching TheStrain and is really enjoying the series. JC said our meeting roomis sucking and the a/c needs fixing. Beth said she went to theSan Jose Giants' princess game and our team lost that night, but she had fun. I saw Spy and enjoyed it. It's worth at leastmatinée. Sam has been watching Mr. Robot and is really enjoying it, butthere's no robots. We did auctions. Rumor of the Week: "Ursula K.
