As most of you know, Cheryl Morgan is running a Kickstarter campaign for a proposed collection called Piracity: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1914580668/piracity
The campaign has 19 days to go. I would make this proposal at a meeting in person, but I won't be at the next two meetings: I'd like to ask, if the next couple of meetings are willing, that instead of a party jar we open a Piracity Jar. At the end of the second meeting, The Treasurer could pledge to the campaign on behalf of the club (using the GBP 1 donation plus whatever we raise, rather than at any particular premium level, I think, since it will obviously be an odd amount of money raised). If the project funds, the Piracity fund would go to the project. If it does not, the fund would revert to the General Fund. I hope people are willing to pitch in.
