[follow-ons about Ghostrider...] Star Trek Continues. Met cast at SVCC. Watched 7 episodes, and really pleased. Worth full price (it's free) and they are a 501(c)3. [Ric: Amazing show] www.startrekcontinues.com JohnO: Hugo readings: N.K. Jemisin's The Obelisk Gate. Excellent. Top contender (but still has Death's End to read). More straightforward than the first book. Structured as the narrator is talking to the main character. Almost done with Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee. First of a series. Military story with a twist. At 80% in, it's not as leading contender. Maker's Faire: 4 hours on Saturday, 6 on Sunday. It's even bigger. Made it through the expo and dark halls. Lots of interesting things to see. Lots of kids kits. IBM had a nice booth about their quantum computers. Will go back.
