REVIEWS:
Yochanon reviewed the one day he attended the Heroes and Villains media con
as he had a pretty good time & they had more space, used better this year

Bill reviewed helping an alumni group take over a sports bar for college
football viewing was fun but ended frustratingly since their team lost

Ken reviewed the 25th anniversary of the KFJC Psychotronic Film Festival as
they got there extra early and it was a packed house - very much fun &
worth full price and the next one should be in the spring

Dave reviewed reading Hugo nominated short fiction as he has been enjoying
the stories, reviewed the book 'Provenance' by Ann Leckie as allegedly a
stand-alone book - but that it contains a lot of spoilers for the Ancillary
Justice series, that he's been listening to a lot of podcasts & enjoyed
watching 'Thor - Ragnarok'

Fred reviewed visiting Santa Barbara as nice

Lisa reviewed Loscon as enjoyable, that the Worldcon party was
well-received & that going paperless did not work well - Fred commented
that he enjoyed the con being paperless; then Lisa reviewed 'Coco' as well
done & enjoyable while [little] Harold enjoyed the short before 'Coco' but
commented that it was 20 minutes long

Gerry reviewed seeing a Christmas fair at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale
as there were few booksellers but many hand-crafters offering their wares

there were auctions

Adjourned 8:39

And the rumor of the week = 'The internet is made of cats and kitty litter
Twitter feed'
