Called to order at 8 pm 20 people attended we established a party jar The minutes of meeting 1426 were accepted as 'sad libs' the Treasurer was missing the VP reported that he will not be at the Dec 11 meeting the President had nothing fannish to report ANNOUNCEMENTS: [evil] Kevin announced that Worldcon 76 will present Retro Hugos for the year 1943 on Saturday night of con Beth announced that Kaitlyn has completed her college applications as of now Andy announced that SMOFcon happened in Boston last week & the next SMOFcon will be held in Santa Rosa next December REVIEWS: Yochanon reviewed the one day he attended the Heroes and Villains media con as he had a pretty good time & they had more space, used better this year Bill reviewed helping an alumni group take over a sports bar for college football viewing was fun but ended frustratingly since their team lost Ken reviewed the 25th anniversary of the KFJC Psychotronic Film Festival as they got there extra early and it was a packed house - very much fun & worth full price and the next one should be in the spring Dave reviewed reading Hugo nominated short fiction as he has been enjoying the stories, reviewed the book 'Provenance' by Ann Leckie as allegedly a stand-alone book - but that it contains a lot of spoilers for the Ancillary Justice series, that he's been listening to a lot of podcasts & enjoyed watching 'Thor - Ragnarok' Fred reviewed visiting Santa Barbara as nice Lisa reviewed Loscon as enjoyable, that the Worldcon party was well-received & that going paperless did not work well - Fred commented that he enjoyed the con being paperless; then Lisa reviewed 'Coco' as well done & enjoyable while [little] Harold enjoyed the short before 'Coco' but commented that it was 20 minutes long Gerry reviewed seeing a Christmas fair at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale as there were few booksellers but many hand-crafters offering their wares there were auctions Adjourned 8:39 And the rumor of the week = 'The internet is made of cats and kitty litter Twitter feed' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?'
