The minutes of meeting 1446 were accepted as 'existing in the aether'

the Treasurer reported that we have money

the VP had nothing fannish to report

the President had nothing fannish to report

The Sports Committee reported that there are still tickets available for
the May 18 Giants vs Rockies game BASFA outing for $30.00 - see Dave G.
Then Ken reported that there are still tickets available for the BASFA
outing to the Harry Potter night San Jose Giants game, Friday, June 15 =
$52 per person for the Martinelli’s VIP deck.  Email ba...@p4tt.com if you

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Ken announced that this Friday is the Legion of Rassilon meeting; 7:30 pm
at the Denny’s in Campbell, near the Pruneyard on Bascom

Brad announced that Action Comic #1000 is being released & that there are
many different covers for it & announced that he will be at an academic
conference this Friday, April 27, 9am at UCI, Humanities Gateway 1030 &
that Gregory Benford will moderate the session Brad will give his paper at,

John O announced that he gets his knee replaced on May 7 & announced that

76 flyers & postcards to distribute for all the events coming up

Bill reviewed CMTSJ's performance of 'Guys and Dolls' at the Montgomery
Theatre in SF as it was very well done, check -

Carole reviewed 'Head over Heels' as she enjoyed it & it has music by the
GoGos in a 15th century play, Brad also saw it & enjoyed it - and Bill
appreciated the transition of the 15th century play into a modern
entertainment

Bikl reviewed SETI talks on Planetary Protection at Foothill College as
focused on protecting the Earth from strikes by asteroids & also reviewed
SETI's talk about 'What we are protecting Mars from' as discussing
practical problems of not ruining other world environments

John O reviewed 'Isle of Dogs' highly recommended, with beautiful visuals &
a unique story, Dave C also found it greatly enjoyable, Chris O is a
cat-person, but still enjoyed it & then John O commented that he has been
enjoying a 'puppy-free' Hugo reading slate
