Reviews

Bill
Saw Ant-man & The Wasp. Gleeful and disregard for the square-cubed law. Car
chase 4/10 of a “Bullet”. There is a plot, but it seemed more of a device to
hang gags off of. Worth at least a matinee, maybe full price. StanLee cameo
breaks no new ground.
JohnO: Opening scene is best dad scene in a film or TV show.
Carole: Two cookies, both worth staying for.

Vikas
Commonwealth Club did an interview with Andy Weir talking about Artemis. It
will become a movie. Andy Weir is like the main character of the Martian. Great
sense of humor.

DaveC
Youtube: The Mash Report. BritishTV like the old Daily Show. Nish Kumar hosts,
with Rachel Parris as correspondent. Fun.

Neil
Saw Sorry to Bother You, about an African American man who is a phone solicitor
who is successful by using his white voice. Astonished that not one review
mentions it’s a SciFi film! Make an effort to see.

The auction was performed by Kurt Rice.

The meeting adjourned at around 21:00, and the rumor of the week was: Everyone
offer the chairman a drink.
