Called to order at 8 pm 7 people attended we established a party jar The minutes of meeting 1487 were accepted as 'being online' there was no Treasurer's report the VP had nothing fannish to report the President had nothing fannish to report The Sports Committee subset reported that he is still investigating a BASFA outing to the SJ Giants on one or both of - Star Wars night on May 4 - and Harry Potter night on June 15 - & he needs at least 15 to commit to either [or both] dates so he can reserve the Martinelli's plaza; plus an outing to the SJ Sharks game is also being investigated ANNOUNCEMENTS: Valerie announced that March 8-10 is FogCon & that Clockwork Alchemy will be March 22-24 Howeird announced that he is still out of work & looking for employment Ken announced that this Friday is the Legion of Rassilon meeting; 7:30 pm at the Denny’s on Bascom in Campbell, near the Pruneyard on Bascom Fred announced that this Friday, Feb 22 there will be some sort of art exhibit at the SJ downtown Hyatt REVIEWS: Howeird reviewed a play at the Pear Theatre in MV that performed 'Spending the End of the Universe on OK Cupid' as locally written & interesting Valerie reviewed Gallifrey One as lovely, with inventive costuming & lovely guests Fred reviewed a novel - Mark Oshiro's 'Anger is a Gift' as speculative fiction set in Oakland & readable we adjourned at 8:30 Rumor of the week was 'best attended BASFA meeting EVER' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?'
