A reminder that if you are not going to SpikeCon but are a member or want to
become a member so that you can vote in Westercon (and NASFiC) site selection
and would rather not mail your ballot, I plan to be at the BASFA meeting on
June 10 and you can give me your ballot then. No special preparation is
necessary, but it would be helpful if you put each ballot (and its associated
payment) in its own envelope, so that ballots/payments do not get mixed
together.

Thanks,

Tall Kevin

Subject: [Basfa] Voting for 2021 Westercon Site Selection

[Caution: External sender, beware of phishing]
I currently expect to be at the BASFA meeting on June 10. If you would like to
vote for the 2021 Westercon Site Selection election happening at
SpikeCon/Westercon 72/2019 NASFiC this year but are not going to the convention
and would prefer to not send your ballot by postal mail, I am willing to take
people's ballots to the convention for them.

Download the ballot from
https://spikecon.org/business/site-selections/westercon-2021-ballot<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__spikecon.org_business_site-2Dselections_westercon-2D2021-2Dballot&d=DwMFAg&c=yB5_1n673GUOGXx1LN8Nrw&r=wKLd4svJgWwwRRnNU11SfaeSVLWUkOpQy-ZU-xJ_Spk&m=BVNutXoh9oOHwNNoTvx3VAM9dPEyUFmdNwxpxvvwlbc&s=XjCxm5PezOz7LU1phSYHBjIWdjnOxmKYiAuDWeBvdCM&e=>
-- no electronic voting is happening, and site selection does not accept
credit card payments.

The voting fee (which makes you a supporting member of the 2021 Westercon no
matter who wins) is $20, payable to "Westercon 74."

If you are not a member of SpikeCon, you'll need to include a separate $30
payment (payable to "SpikeCon") for a supporting membership in
SpikeCon/Westercon 72/NASFiC 2019.

If writing a check is a sticking point, bring cash and I will turn the payment
into a check on my own account for you.

To preserve the privacy of your ballot, I suggest that you put each ballot
(along with the associated payment) in its own envelope. While of course I'm
the chair of the Tonopah in 2021 Westercon bid and do hope that you'll vote for
us, I'd rather not know what's on anyone's ballot.

You can of course send your ballot by postal mail without having to go through
me.

Thanks,

Tall Kevin
