Reviews

Dave Clark
• Saw Spiderman Far From Home. Light fare, very entertaining. Treatment of
Mysterio surprisingly good. Worth full price.

Lisa Deutsch-Harrigan
• Attended the Miss Fisher Mysteries Convention. Fun con. Stuff about the cars
and clothes. Missed masquerade, but heard it was nice. Fun time. 120 attendees.
It’ll be in New England next year.
• Saw Hamilton. Fantastic. Well told (if not playing a little with the
history.) Mix of trad-musical with hip-hop and other styles. Will try to get in
the lottery to see it again.
• Went to the Wizard of Oz Sing-a-Long at 3Below. Quite fun. Dressed as Auntie
Em.

Debbie Bretschneider
• Costume College in Los Angeles. One of the Miss Fisher costume designers was
there! A lot of classes. Very good time, highly recommend.

Ric Bretschneider
• Two weekends ago went to Comicon in San Diego. Saw the preview activations
(live experiences) for the Expanse, Carnival Row and the Boys. Also saw the
Pennyworth activation, which took-over a bar with various experiences (even saw
the actor that plays Pennyworth hanging out.) Went to Comic-book Legal Defense
Fund party. It’s getting to be more experiences outside of the convention (no
ticket needed). Managed to stay half a block away from the con (won the hotel
lottery!)
