Reviews

RickM
Undone on prime. Best thing this year along with Russian Doll, and most
creative. Very genre. Done with live action, 2 & 3D rotoscoped animation.
Psychologically and temporally fragmented. Really really cool. Eyepoppingly
good. High rave!

DaveC
New Allstate ad out, with Dean Winters as Mayhem. Tells the sordid truth about
cats.

Saturday went to see Star Trek Live! in San Francisco at the Oasis. They
performed The Naked Time. Mostly faithful to the original episode, but in drag!
Our group was mostly in costume. He got to stump the captain. Worth full price.
JohnO: We were there as well. When the next show comes around, definitely see
it. Final show and it was obvious that the case was trying to break each other.
Scotty went OTT on the accent. This is the episode where Sulu went overboard,
and their Sulu went way over and Kirk went even further. They’re doing Buffy
the Vampire Slayer episode Once More with Feeling next month.

JohnO:
Wizard World is in Oakland in November. Their website has zero info two months
out from the con, except where, when, and how much.
Lisa: It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving
Ken & Jerry:
Saw Bright Star at Palo Alto Players on Thursday. Jerry describes it as a
"time-traveling love story before birth-control." Written by Steve Martin and
Edie Brickell. Runs for one more weekend. paplayers.org <http://paplayers.org/>

There was an auction (lots of stuff, doubled the length of the meeting!)

Rumor of the Week: Fred left holding the bag
