*Keep Watching the Skys! - Part 2*

Keep watching the skies! It’s back from the outer reaches of cinematic
space! By popular request from our wonderful Cupertino audience, we are
bringing back a brand new series of classic Science-Fiction films! Join
your host filmmaker and scholar Mark Larson for a wild six week series
delving into the mysteries of intergalactic motion picture mayhem! A lively
audience discussion follows every film!

Remember, social interaction is found to decrease the effects of dementia.
So, consider this part of your health plan. Accompanied by refreshments
from the wonderful Cupertino Senior Center volunteers, aka our health
associates!

All events will be held at the Cupertino Senior Center

the Cupertino Senior Center and the Cupertino Library continue to
presenting classic films together with professional discussions led by
Prof. Mark Larson from Santa Clara University. Audiences are often
astounded to find that these old films are as engaging as many new films
and the discussion afterward tops anything you will get at a theater.

*October 15th: Week One: The Incredible Shrinking Man (1957)*
One beautiful California day, a man encounters a radioactive cloud and
before you know it, he is on a trip into the infinite! Grant Williams gives
an outstanding performance as the man with a new atomic destiny in director
Jack Arnold’s 1957 masterpiece!
