There was advice given to register for Costume Con soon

REVIEWS:
Tom reviewed a book, 'Stealing Worlds' by Karl Schroeder as set in the near
future with lots of VR involvement, very good characters & he highly
recommends it - and that it seems to be a stand-alone novel

Fred reviewed that the Oakland Museum of California has a Burning Man
exhibit there now & that there may be a video about it online, with
additional interviews

Loscon was reviewed by several = Dave C said 'a great time was had by all'
- even the Dealers - & he really liked that Howard Waldrop was Writer GoH;
that he got to see Waldrop do a reading & learned he will have a new book
out soon through Subterranean Press; it was reported that locusts hit the
ice cram social, Lisa said the Masquerade was a Masquerade Ball, so she
didn't stay for it; then Dave C reviewed the rental he had - a Dodge
Journey - as a 'remarkable' vehicle that gave a very bouncy ride until it
was filled with books & his first and last experience with a Dodge Journey

Lisa reviewed Dickens Faire as nice - good food, good entertainment & it
was very comfortable inside the Cow Palace [https://dickensfair.com/]

Andy reviewed SMOFcon as it was held in beautiful downtown Albuquerque -
they stayed at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, that the con program was
'pretty excellent' & that he had all 4 of his panels on Saturday, which was
pretty brutal & commented that many of the Worldcon bid presentations still
need some work

there were no auctions

we adjourned at 8:41

Rumor of the week was 'one word review of 'Anarchy!'
