Called to order at 8:06pm 20 undifferentiated beings attended The minutes of meeting 1553 were accepted as 'accepted' the Treasurer was not present, but we took in nothing last week & our totals are = regular total is $15,632.83; party total is $230.58 the VP had nothing fannish to report the President was 'busy but good' ANNOUNCEMENTS: Fred announced that there is an auction of sf collectables going on now to help the estate of Mike Resnick raise money, if interested check = https://estatesales.org/estate-sales/oh/blue-ash/45242/resnick-estate-scifi-writers-world-1791115 Gayle announced that her physical therapy is going well & she is reasonably healthy Howeird announced that Ricky Valence died Chris O announced that she is still Covid free [after another test result] REVIEWS: John O reviewed watching all 10 episodes of 'For All Mankind' on Apple TV Plus and considers it as well worth watching, the series improving over time - highly recommended, Chris O also really liked the series & characters in it Dave Wallace reviewed a game 'Nonograms Katana' as it has added an "Adventurers Guild" beta feature, which is a kind of rpg overlay that he has enjoyed spending time over & he recommends it Lisa reviewed attending 2 online conventions this last weekend - that TorCon had guests being interviewed by a host & was okay, then Marcia follow'd that she also attended& she did 'AmazingCon' - as all Zoom meetings, which was 'amazing' - which worked well for chatting and questioning the guests & she had a lot more fun with that one, but they don't replace real cons Marcia reviewed 'This is how you lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar' as well-written and she enjoyed it, and also reviewed 'The Deep' as she really liked it & especially meaningful given present-day events Gerry reviewed the 2 orbital launches - rocket lab launching from NZ & then the Falcon 9 - as both went very well & Howeird follow'd with a question from a friend about satellites 'filling' the night sky, that Gerry responded as not being a major concern, given the volume of space we adjourned at 8:42 pm Rumor of the week was = 'Lego stores re-opened.
