He was very pleased with it & enjoyed it a lot, but it didn't leave a lasting memory with him. He rates it as worth full price & recommended; & he reviewed 'The Cloverfield Paradox' on Netflix as set on a space station. it had some interesting ideas & he liked it Rick reviewed 'Star Trek Strange New Worlds', episode 2 ("Ad Astra per Aspera", Paramount+) as a brilliant courtroom drama worthy of comparison with TNG's "The Measure of a Man". Yochanan followed, saying that he also really liked it a lot; & Rick reviewed the latest Marvel TV mini-series, 'Secret Invasion' (Marvel, and thus Disney+) which will run for six episodes. So far (on a sample of one ep), it was a little slow, with Cold War-like spy-drama paranoia and atmosphere. Promising. Worth full whatever so far; & Rick reviewed "Troll" (from 2022) as a fun, fast-moving Norwegian monster/adventure flick, modelled after the likes of Godzilla and King Kong, that happily doesn't take itself too seriously. Excellent CGI, lots of gorgeous Norway scenery, endearing characters, good enough (if derivative) script. Findable on Netflix. Robin reviewed the third of a trilogy by local author Peter Sartucci, 'The Shadow Exalted', as she enjoyed it & likes the way the author writes of how its society deals with magic Trey reviewed 'The Flash' as he was pleasantly surprised that he enjoyed the movie as much as he did & rates it as worth matinee. Yochanan also saw it and very much enjoyed it - feeling it was worth full price & he really liked the cameos we adjourned at 8:31pm and the rumor of the week was = 'Science is about other people making mistakes so you don't have to' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?'
