Status: Open Priority: 3 Submitted By: Dave Welch (dmwelch-guest) Assigned to: Nobody (None) Summary: autoconf fails for AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE on MacOS Lion Distribution: None Originally reported in: None Milestone: 2.0 Status: None Original bug number: Initial Comment: Running autoconf on configure.ac at tag 2.0 produces an error: ----------------- configure.ac:3: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. ----------------- Full output is attached. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Dave Welch (dmwelch-guest) Date: 2012-06-28 09:08 Message: I'm not familiar with autoreconf, but I naively tried running it on the directory. I've attached the history... The README doesn't detail the installation at this level, so I'm guessing at what I should be doing. :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Ville Skyttä (scop-guest) Date: 2012-06-27 10:33 Message: You do have automake installed, right? Have you tried running autoreconf instead of autoconf and friends directly? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://alioth.debian.org/tracker/?func=detail&atid=413095&aid=313689&group_id=100114 _______________________________________________ Bash-completion-devel mailing list Bash-completion-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/bash-completion-devel
