I've requested ownership of the freshmeat entry for Basket. In order to 
properly prepare the release, I'll also need the following:

- collaborator access to the main basket repository on Gitorious, in order to 
push tags.
- project admin access to the project space for basket on sourceforge.net in 
order to upload the file releases.

I'll prep a beta release of Basket 2.0 once all of the above is done and I 
have an answer from freshmeat regarding my request for ownership of the basket 
freshmeat entry.

I'll also take a look at the website and see if I can get it updated for the 
release as well, unless somebody else wants to help with this. :)
